Couples Therapy Warsaw - Couples Center

As certified psychotherapists, we hold diplomas from the International Association of Process Oriented Psychology and the Polish Association of Psychotherapists and Process-Oriented Psychology Practitioners, incorporated in the Polish Psychotherapy Council.

We established our Center for Couples in 2012, offering sessions in both Polish and English.

We provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and sexual orientations.

Agnieszka Serafin

Agnieszka Serafin, Licensed Marital Therapist I perceive couples therapy as a space where individuals can come together and reflect on what connects them and what matters to them most. The success of therapy doesn't depend on the type of problems, but on the genuine commitment of both parties to engage in an honest dialogue. I strive to create an environment where both individuals feel comfortable talking about themselves and their challenges. I believe that relationships deserve special attention, as they have a profound impact on the quality of our lives. Through therapy, we can cultivate our strengths and confront our deepest fears. It is often a difficult process, but one that is deep and rewarding.

Some of the areas I specialize in include intimacy and trust, feelings of loneliness and communication barriers, parenting challenges, sexual issues, and coping with fertility struggles. I also have extensive experience working with multicultural couples.

As a certified psychotherapist, psychologist, and sociologist (graduate of the College of Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw), I have been providing individual and couples therapy since 2007.

My professional training includes internships at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, the Neuropsychiatry and Rehabilitation Center in Zagórze, the Women's Rights Centre, and the Anna Mazowiecka Clinical Hospital, among others.

Mikołaj Czyż

Licensed Marital Therapist Mikołaj Czyż Couples therapy offers a chance to explore, understand, and navigate the complex situation that partners find themselves in, despite their best intentions. This process involves reflecting on the needs, hopes, and daily realities of the relationship.

I specialize in long-term therapy, although sometimes, after few sessions, partners may experience relief or gain more clarity on the future of their relationship. I believe it's crucial to create a safe space where thoughts and emotions can be freely expressed and heard by one's partner.

I approach the relationship as a unique entity with its own resourcess and processes. It has the capacity to evolve and shape the world around it. This is surprising for partners and transcends their individual experiences. I'm fascinated by how this emerging, creative process of the relationship unfolds in desires, challenges, and unforeseen events that shape the couple.

I have been running my psychotherapy practice since 2007. I have completed internships at various organizations, including the Military Institute of Medicine - National Research Institute, and institutions that provide assistance to people with psychiatric diagnoses.
I am interested in art and creativity.

I hold a degree from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
