A few simple notes about the website.
Website
The Couples Center site is a static website about our work: couples therapy, the therapists, practical arrangements, and contact.
We write and maintain it ourselves, so we try to keep its language close to how we actually work.
Technical side
The site is built mainly with HTML and CSS. A small amount of JavaScript is used for smooth navigation and for the image animations.
We use a self-hosted instance of Matomo — without cookies and without sharing data with advertising companies. The data is anonymized and serves only to show whether the site works and whether the essential information can be found.
There are no forms, user accounts, or external social-media widgets here.
Maintenance
We try to keep the site light, readable, and usable without animation.
